2023-02-13 I saw this post on router forums when looking for the best way to deepen the opening in the router bit table that had a link to the MLCS version
Infinity options - the ones with bearings
MLCS options has a 3/4" diameter with 1/2" shank and one that is 31/64, may work for baltic birch 0.5" nominal
Woodsmith 151 pdfp10 has an article "getting a flat-bottom dado" about using a tablesaw to cut dados, then this bit to flatten the bottom gives the best / easiest results
buy the bits undersized from the desired dado width "Trying to use a bit the same size as the dado could cause it to bind."
They also speak of the "Dado-Cutting Bit"
which is simlar but has long flutes though the flutes are "still much shorter than straight bits to reduce vibration, resulting in a cleaner cut."

"It is best to have sides that are at least ½” thick and not more than 1” thick, but this covers most common drawer applications. Sides made from 5/8” thick stock work very well with this bit."

the freud_99260_misc subfolder has screen captures of similar bits from other manufacturers and screen captures of some reviews from amazon (one of which seems to be describing the 99-036 on freuds site amazon page for 99-036 adjustable tongue and groove bit with the shim instructions local .pdf. The idea is that if you are making a simple door using plywood for the panel (not a raised panel) it gives a perfect fit.

This page indicates Core Box Bits "...cut half-round grooves for fluted moldings, columns, millwork, and signs. When used with an edge guide, this bit will also cuts coves" while Bowl & Tray Router Bits "...are used for routing solid wood serving trays or flat dishes."
