freud 80-124 3/16" Radius Traditional Beading Bit freud page 2022 Acme tools $30.99
Traditional Beading Bits are a great solution when a project requires matching moldings in historic homes. The bit forms a single bead with a square shoulder, which is frequently used by renovators to match base moldings in historic homes. Use with hand-held or table-mounted routers to cut hardwood, softwood, plywood or composites. Also a good choice for furniture reproduction.
80-572 1/8" Radius Triple Beading & Fluting Bit freud page 2022 woodcraft $59.97
Freud's family of Triple Beading and Triple Fluting Bits offer lots of options to enhance moldings, columns and furniture with multiple beads and flutes. The bits produce 1/8" radius flutes or beads, an ideal size for restoration or reproduction projects. Use with CNC, hand-held or table-mounted routers to cut hardwood, softwood, plywood or composites.

For closing and end trims of your cabinet doors and drawers. A great addition to any cabinet door and drawer set. The #180-2405 combines a back cutter with a rounded top edge. With our "Reversible European" design #180-2805 you can use the profile in either direction and still have a functional finger grip. Adjust cutter heights for desired upper bead reveal. Shaded areas in drawings indicates profile when used with European-type cup hinges. All bits two flute, carbide tipped. For best results use in router table. USA

99-240 (local .pdf) is the bigger of 2 similar looking ones I have (the smaller is t-slot cutting bit) freud page 2022 on amazon for $33.95
The cleverly-designed Drawer Lock Bit produces both pieces of the drawer joint using a single bit. Drawer fronts are formed horizontally, flat on the table surface. Then, without adjusting the bit height, the drawer side is routed with the work piece standing vertically. The result is a strong, efficient joint between the sides and front of a drawer. Routes hardwood, softwood and composite materials; use in table-mounted routers only.

Freud's Finger Joint bit produces a joint that is actually stronger than the wood itself, making this a perfect choice for joint wood edge-to-edge or end-to-end. By adjusting the height of the bit, you can join wood of almost any thickness up to 1-1/2" thick. Once the bit height is properly set, you simply rout one piece face up, and the mating piece face down. For use with table-mounted routers to rout hardwood, softwood or composite materials.

Create rock-solid interlocking corner joints with Freud Lock Miter Bits. For 90 degree joints use the 99-034 or 99-035 bits. These bits are designed to rout one piece horizontally on the router table, and the other piece standing vertical. For precise 45 degree joints us the 99-043 set, with one bit routing the tongue and the other bit routing the groove. For routing solid hardwood or softwood on table mounted routers or CNC machines only.

Freud's huge selection of Raised Panel Bits are ideal for creating raised panels for doors, drawer fronts and paneling, as well as decorative tops, plaques and molding. All of these bits feature revolutionary Quadra-Cut™design combining two small wings that cut downward to shear the top edge for a splinter-free surface, and two large wings that shear upward for a smooth finish. As you select your bit, note that some bits feature a 1/2" carbide height for use in 5/8" thick panels, and others have a 5/8" carbide height for 3/4" thick panels. Use raised panel bits in table-mounted routers with a fence to rout hardwood or softwood panels.

according to this forum "...if the cutting surface is an arc with no flat spot, it is a round nose. If there is a flat spot, it is a core box."
This page indicates Core Box Bits "...cut half-round grooves for fluted moldings, columns, millwork, and signs. When used with an edge guide, this bit will also cuts coves" while Bowl & Tray Router Bits "...are used for routing solid wood serving trays or flat dishes."
Round Nose Bits add a beautiful engraved detail to cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and fluted millwork, and they are also a great choice for routing sign lettering. Sometimes called "Core Box" bits, these tools can be used in CNC, hand-held or table-mounted routers to cut hardwood, softwood, plywood and composites.

For around $50, you can buy a single WoodRiver bit that will cut tongues and grooves in 3⁄4"-thick material. Use both cutters to make the tongue; then use a single cutter for the groove. See Buyer’s Guide, p. 64 for ordering information.
The anti-kickback design of these industrial quality carbide router bits limits stock feed rate for safer router operations. Solid steel bodies are precision machined to carefully controlled tolerances. A final CNC machine 600 grit wet grind on the K-20 German carbide produces a clean, extremely sharp, and durable cutting edge. Bit bodies are coated to help prevent resin build up and make resin removal easier. High quality Japanese bearings are used on bits fitted with guide bearings. This bit is carbide tipped. Cuts material up to 3/4" thick.

Down spiral bits are a great choice for grooves and dadoes in single-sided veneers and laminates where chip removal is not a problem, or for through-cuts where finish quality on the top surface is the primary consideration. Also cuts well in solid wood. Ideal for use in CNC routers. When used in hand-held or table-mounted routers, use care to keep router and work piece under control.
