2023-12-20 this pc magazine article in part indicates that YouTube not allowing ad blockers may be a setting saved in a cookie. In the recent past, I couldn't watch them without turning off Adblocker Ultimate, but I recently deleted the cookies and the videos are now playing again with ad blocking.
